Pineapool

Technical overview

Custom pool cover materials and specifications.

The essential details behind Pineapool construction, custom fitting, drainage, installation planning, and product support.

Material and construction

Construction

Double-layer PVC with an internal polyester weave that reinforces the cover across its surface.

Thickness

600 microns (0.6 mm), selected to provide a firm and stable barrier when the cover is correctly fitted and tensioned.

Outdoor protection

UV protection and antioxidant treatment help the material handle outdoor pool environments.

Rated capacity

The manufacturer states a capacity of up to 240 lbs (110 kg) when the cover is correctly measured, installed, anchored, and tensioned over a filled pool.

Rainwater management

An integrated central drain helps move rainwater off the cover instead of allowing it to remain pooled on the surface.

Anchoring system

Elastic extenders help absorb impact and maintain tension. Mushroom-style anchors sit flush with the deck when the cover is removed.

Custom fit

Planned around the actual pool.

The project begins with the pool's maximum internal length and width, excluding coping, stone, or deck. The finished cover is generally planned to extend about 20 inches beyond the internal pool edge on each side; final dimensions depend on the project.

  • Rectangular, freeform, curved, and irregular pools
  • Steps, raised spas, and spillover areas
  • Waterfalls, edge deviations, and other project-specific cut-outs
  • Anchoring planned around the available deck and pool layout

Installation planning

The pool and deck both matter.

The pool should be filled during installation so the cover can be positioned and tensioned correctly. Concrete, natural stone, porcelain, ceramic, and wood decks require different drilling and anchoring methods, so the deck surface is reviewed before work begins.

Custom covers ship throughout the United States. Installation availability is confirmed by location with each quote, and local installation can be coordinated where Pineapool does not install directly.

From quote to final check

1

Project review

We review the pool shape, maximum internal dimensions, deck surface, photos, and special features.

2

Final confirmation

Measurements and project details are confirmed before the custom cover enters production.

3

Fabrication and delivery

The cover is produced for the approved layout, checked, prepared, and shipped.

4

Installation and inspection

Installation availability is confirmed with the quote. Every installation should finish with an alignment, anchoring, and tension check.

One-year limited warranty

Coverage begins with the initial payment and applies only to defects or damage caused during manufacturing.
